Weight lifting, in all of its forms, plays an important role in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Doing a minimum of 30 minutes of weight lifting related exercise a day can benefit your health in a variety of ways, including:
To name just a few!
Olympic-style Weightlifting
Olympic Weightlifting is an incredible feat of both physical and mental strength. It concentrates on two very technical lifts; the ‘Snatch’ and the ‘Clean & Jerk’.
The Olympic lifts are considered as the most difficult and complex weight lifting techniques. Discipline, concentration and dedication are all required to master these lifts.
Our classes aim to encompass the above by coaching both novices and those with experience to achieve personal goals.
Functional Fitness offers a completely different experience. Boxes are communities and families. The owners and coaches are spouses, siblings, and best friends. They have community roots and they welcome members warmly into their circle.
Functional Fitness is growing larger each year. It’s helping people fall back in love with fitness with the help of a supportive and nurturing community.
This is a time for members to practice all their skills and drills, it’s a coaching free environment.
